Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms / Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital does not have a dental clinic. Dental Services for active-duty military are provided by the 23rd Dental Company.
The 23rd Dental Company exists to provide comprehensive dental care to active duty personnel assigned to
Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center and Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command.
The healthcare support is provided at Branch Dental Clinic Twentynine Palms by active duty and civilian dental personnel sourced from 1st Dental Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, Camp Pendleton.
Services Provided
The services provided include urgent and routine dental care in:
- Oral Diagnosis
- Periodontics
- Endodontics
- Oral Surgery
- Prosthodontics
- General Dentistry
We also provide 24/7 emergency coverage in Building 1591.
Who We Serve
Primarily a support and report organization, 23rd Dental Company serves approximately 12,500 active duty personnel from 18 operational units under the direction of Major General William M. Jurney, USMC, Commanding General, MCAGCC/MAGTFTC.
The Company Commander and the Senior Enlisted Leader are responsible for the administration and management of the assigned dental personnel to 23rd Dental Company, as well as, the coordination of clinical services for Branch Dental Clinic Bridgeport.

23rd Dental Company personnel are charged to carry out their duties and responsibilities to the best of their abilities, in accordance with operational and administrative instructions, within the limits of their clinical privileges and/or position descriptions.
